UK event to showcase advanced ceramics
The Midlands Industrial Ceramics Group (MICG) is hosting the event on 6 November.
Comprising industrial and academic partners based in the Midlands, the MICG has received £40mln to develop the advanced ceramics sector.
The five-year programme began in October 2021 and is part of the UK Research and Innovation’s flagship Strength in Places Fund.
The MICG will be sharing details on advanced ceramics solving technological challenges at the University of Nottingham’s Jubilee Campus.
MICG is made up of blue-chip companies, including Rolls-Royce, Morgan Advanced Materials and Foseco, as well as SMEs including Lucideon, Precision Ceramics and PCL - together with the Universities of Birmingham, Leicester and Loughborough.
