Tools for Circularity in mining released

The document from the International Council on Mining and Metals provides the business case for increasing circularity in mining.

Tools for Circularity aims to help mining and metals company improve their environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles.

It also shares good practices and detailed case studies, and provides scope for collaboration between companies, ‘from a corporate-level through to implementation at mining’.

The Tool highlights opportunities to boost material efficiency and minimise waste, while increasing ESG credentials through the remining of tailings, use of by-products, or the recovery and reprocessing of e-waste and zero-emission-vehicle batteries.
