Serpentine considers wood
London’s Serpentine Gallery, UK, is currently hosting Cambio, an exhibition about the use of timber in design.

The exhibition from Italian designers Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin, cofounders of Dutch design agency Studio Formafantasma, raises questions over the global timber supply chain.
In considering sustainable regulation in the timber industry might look like, Formafantasma worked with political scientist Philip Pattberg to draw up a few speculative forest governance proposals, such as a proposal that pays forest owners to preserve trees and national certification for sustainably harvested timber.
