Recyclability assessment methodology aids extended producer responsibility
The methodology must be applied to packaging placed on the market from 1 January 2025, ahead of the reporting deadline of 1 October 2025.
Recyclability assessment methodology (RAM) supports large packaging producers to assess their packaging.
A red/amber/green output shows the level of fee modulation payable for that material from year two of Packaging Extended Producer Responsibility (pEPR).
The deadline for submitting feedback and questions that will be answered in the webinar is Friday 10 January.
RAM was published by Defra and the pEPR Scheme Administrator.
