Metcelerate
Delivering training on mineral processing and extraction metallurgy
Metcelerate is a workplace-centered professional formation program that aims to develop graduate chemical and process engineering graduates with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage metallurgical processes, assess risk and identify opportunities to enhance value.
The program has been created by world-leading subject matter experts with a unique combination of skills and practical know-how. The curriculum combines an initial 14-month period of on-line, self-paced learning with live, weekly tutorial sessions, followed by a 6-month process improvement project. The seven modules cover:
- Mineral processing in the mining value chain
- Mineralogy for mineral processing
- Comminution
- Flotation
- Physical separation
- Hydrometallurgy
- Statistics and design of experiments
- Plant improvement project
The modules are assessed through a number of written assignments which are greated by the course leaders who provide individual feedback on your results.
