Li-Cycle will recycle lithium-ion batteries from KION's global brands using submerged shredding technology.
Li-Cycle Holdings Corp, a North American lithium-ion battery recycler, is partnering with the German multinational KION Group, a manufacturer of industrial trucks and warehouse automation equipment. The agreement is until 2030.
Li-Cycle will also develop a new battery recycling facility in France, underpinned by regional commercial demand.
