IOM3 members shortlisted for Women Innovators in Foundation Industries Awards

Congratulations to the members who have been shortlisted for the prestigious awards.

The contribution of Women Innovators in Foundation Industries (WINFI) is recognised by the UKRI’s Transforming Foundation Industries Challenge, delivered by Innovate UK, the Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council and the Economic & Social Research Council.

These awards were founded on International Women in Engineering Day 2022, and WINFI was launched as a community of professionals and organisations who advocate and champion women within the six foundation industries: cement, paper, chemicals, glass, metals and ceramics.

We are delighted to share that five IOM3 members have been shortlisted for this honour:

  • Sarah Harrold CEng FIMMM
  • Lucy Smith MIMMM
  • Asfarina Jamaluddin
  • Katie Hadley

The WINFI Awards 2025 will showcase examples of innovation, vision, passion and determination shown by individuals, businesses and collaborations across the six foundation industries over the last few years.

Congratulations!
