In this episode, Fiona and Adam discuss aspects of responsible mining - that is, mining that engages ethically with local communities, minimises environmental damage and doesn’t exploit its workforce. In this segment, the focus is on investor and other influences that are driving the spread of responsible mining; in the second segment they look in more detail at the rising demands placed on mining companies in terms of tailings storage facilities.
