EGM 2024

Extraordinary General Meeting to appoint the auditors for 2025.

In line with good governance practice, Audit Committee recommended that tender for external audit services takes place in 2024. Tender process commenced in August and was completed in October 2024. Following conclusion of the tender process Audit Committee recommends appointment of Haysmacintyre LLP as IOM3 external audit for financial year ending 31 December 2024. Members are invited to addend Extraordinary General Meeting on 14 November at 16.30 to vote on the external auditor appointment.

Notice of IOM3 Extraordinary General Meeting 2024

Notice is hereby given that in accordance with the Bye-laws, the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining will be held at 16.30 on 14 November 2024 at 297 Euston Road, London, NW1 3AD and online.

The agenda is as follows:

1. Welcome and introduction by the President.
2. Appointment of external auditor to IOM3.
3. Any other business.

Notes:

1. All members of IOM3 may attend the Extraordinary General Meeting.
2. Corporate members (Honorary Fellows, Fellows, Members, Associate Members and Technician Members) may vote on all matters.
3. IOM3 Regulations for Conduct of General Meetings state that members in arrears of subscription of more than 3 months shall not be entitled to vote.
4. Members unable to attend and eligible to vote should do so by completing the proxy form and emailing it to [email protected]

All members of the Institute may attend the EGM, though only Corporate members in good standing (Honorary Fellows, Fellows, Members, Associates and Technicians) are entitled to vote.
