Join us for our joint SWMA-IMechE South Wales Panel talk “Aluminium in Automotive” by Lowrie Lavis, a Lead Process Engineer for the Constellium University Technology Center at Brunel University London on Monday 21st October from 6:15pm in ERRI 001,Swansea University Bay Campus and online. Talk Summary: Constellium is a key player in the aluminium industry, with the UK's rapid prototyping centre optimizing innovative alloys, designs and manufacturing processes for Crash Management Systems and battery enclosures, proving concepts and opportunities for industrialization. Our main focus here in the UK is for R&D focusing on lightweighting, recycling and high performance products for use in (but not limited to!) the automotive sector.
