This is a reminder that you need to get organised if you are to be a contender at this prestigous event.There are sought-after prizes to be won in the annual SMEA quiz, which will take place on October 15th and will start at 1815. Register your team by the 1st October to guarantee half-time supper.
Teams of 4 are encouraged, although there are often individuals on the night looking to join a team. Non-members can be part of a team but the team needs to be registered by a member. Register your team details by emailing Colleen: events@smea1894.com.
What about the prizes? There are two. The most innovative team name and the prize for the team with the most points. But that is not all. At half time, it's not just about the food - pie, peas and chips - it's also about the chance to socialise and have fun with your fellow members.
If you can answer questions about Sheffield, technical topics as well as general knowledge then why not enter a team in an attempt to win the accolade of your fellow members and one of the prizes.
