The Steel industry is currently going through its biggest upheaval in over half a century. Decarbonisation and Sustainability drives the business vision and strategy across the world, supported by radical changes in legislation to meet Net Zero commitments, with a number of new and existing technologies accelerating towards industrialisation. In this lecture, Chris will present some of the officially announced strategies of different companies, what these technologies of tomorrow may be and how realistic a proposition some of them are in the short, medium, and long term with a focus on Raw Materials and Energy security.
