Abstract: The upcoming plastic packaging taxes and company packaging targets are fast approaching. The need to demonstrate and introduce recycled content into products is clearly critical for a sustainable future. This presentation will discuss difficult to recycle materials and food grade plastics which must be addressed to meet current and future industrial and societal needs.
The speaker is Dr Jon Mitchell, Project Manager, Nextek Ltd.
The talk will start at 19:00 and last around 45-60 minutes. We welcome questions and discussions after the presentation. The talk will be a hybrid event, simultaneously run in-person and online using Microsoft Teams.
This event is a joint meeting with the East Midlands Materials Society and the East Midlands Packaging Society.
