EMMS Support for Conference Attendance
EMMS were pleased to be able to support Alice Robinson from Rolls-Royce to attend The International Conference for the Tomography of Materials and Structures 2024 (ICTMS2024) in Cape Town, South Africa. Alice said on her return from the conference "With the conference spanning 5 days, the networking opportunities were fantastic. It was a very international conference with attendees from the US, Australia, and all across Europe as well as many South Africans. In terms of my personal contributions during the week, I did both a lightning talk and presented my poster throughout the poster sessions. I was very nervous ahead of the poster session knowing I was from a very niche area of tomography but I’m pleased to say I never stopped talking - I was so busy with people wanting to better understand what atom probe is and how it might be useful to their research. Thank you again for the support from EMMS, without it I wouldn’t have been able to attend this conference."
