INFORMATION FOR COMPETITORS AND ATTENDEES
Applications are invited for the Coventry and Warwickshire IOM3 Younger Persons Lecture Competition to take place at Warwick University on 15th Feb at 18:00.
Competitors are required to give a lecture of 15 minutes on a topic related to materials, minerals, mining, packaging, clay technology or wood science and engineering. The event will take place in the auditorium of the Warwick University International Manufacturing Centre (warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/wmg/about/facilities/) and competitors will be expected to attend in person.
Applications can be made by completing the online entry at: www.iom3.org/yplc. Judging criteria are also available on the same website. DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES - END OF TUESDAY 8th FEBRUARY 2023
There will be a prize of £100 for the winner on the night in addition to a prize of £50 for the first five entrants to register for the heat. The winner will take part in the regional final later in March (arrangements to be announced) for which there will be a cash prize of £150. The regional winner will take part in the National competition. First prize is £750 and entry to the World final!

Non-competitors are invited to attend in-person or on-line to give support to the competitors. Refreshments will be available from 18:00 with the first lecture scheduled for 18:30.

You can also pay up to 24 hours later via a web-site. If you arrive after 17:00 it only costs £1.00.
