Lecture by Mr Jack Berryman
In marine construction and other offshore operations, unexpected downtime can be a costly setback. Every hour of stand down impacts budgets and significant downtime can wipe out all the profit from a project. How can a company effectively manage this risk within such demanding marine environments?
MintMech specialise in the design, fabrication and commissioning of bespoke equipment to meet the testing environments of geotechnical drilling and marine construction. The pursuit of continual improvement in safety and efficiency within offshore operations has allowed MintMech to champion retrofittable and automated solutions within a market of ageing vessels and equipment that may not otherwise meet the exacting standards and expectations of the industry.
An experienced, knowledgeable and practical Mechanical Engineer. Jack founded MintMech Specialist Engineers in 2018 and specialises in the design, manufacture and operation of large diameter drilling, geotechnical drilling, marine construction, and offshore handling equipment.
Jack has a broad knowledge of heavy marine engineering having designed, commissioned and managed a wide range of complex engineering projects, from large diameter foundation equipment, walking jack-up barges, ultradeep water heave compensated geotechnical drills to spoil management systems and automation control systems.
