12th World Conference on Sampling & Blending (WCSB12)

The World Conference on Sampling & Blending will be held in Penryn, a seaside town in Cornwall, United Kingdom, from 30 June to 2 July 2026. This 12th edition of WCSB promotes the Theory of Sampling (TOS) which identifies sources of sampling variability and provides valuable solutions for minimising each source of sampling uncertainty. The Conference is intended to create understanding and insight into sampling theory and practice for academics, manufacturers, engineering firms and practitioners seeking to achieve representative sampling. To achieve this goal, the Conference provides a meeting place for all people interested in sampling theory, practice, quality control, standards, and its implications.

The conference fosters collaboration between academics, practitioners, and industry leaders, with discussions including the standardisation of sampling protocols and sustainable practices aligned with UN development goals. Attendees will benefit from expert-led sessions, networking opportunities, and the prestigious Pierre Gy Gold Medal award.

WCSB12 proceedings will be peer-reviewed and published electronically to support academic dissemination. Join us in shaping the future of sampling and blending.
