A chemist/geologist by background, his main technical expertise is in the use of industrial by-products in concrete, low carbon cements and concrete durability he has more than 35 years relevant experience on research, consultancy projects and site based investigations. He is experienced in managing multi-partner collaborative projects involving natural composites, life cycle assessment, pilot scale concrete product manufacture. |

I'm a Lecturer & Researcher in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Federal University of Technology, Akure, (FUTA) Nigeria. I hold an M.Eng. degree in Advanced Materials Engineering with Distinction from FUTA in 2018 & B.Eng. degree in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering from the same institution where I graduated with a First Class Hons. top 1% & emerged as the best graduating student in the School of Engineering and Engineering Technology (SEET) FUTA in 2014.

Currently, an assistant professor at ESTP Paris, Othmane has a PhD in materials science. His current research interests are: the optimisation of the clinkerisation process, the use of inert waste as construction materials (cement, concrete, and geopolymers) and the regeneration of hydraulics properties of concrete.
