Angus MacGregor

Angus MacGregor has around 30 years of construction experience in-the-ground and underground spread across the sectors of transportation, energy, extractive industries and maritime, mainly in Scotland, North Wales and North of England.  Angus’ current role is sector subject matter specialist for Source JV, and ground risk panel member for BAM UK and Ireland.  He is one of two business development managers for BAM Ritchies.  Angus is current Secretary of the Mining Institute of Scotland, he is a Fellow of the North of England Institute of Mining and Mechanical Engineers, and the Institute of Quarrying, he is a Member of IOM3, PWI and Midland Institute of Mining Engineers.  Angus is a STEM Ambassador for ICE Scotland.  Career highlights include being project manager on construction of the UK’s longest temporary level crossing on the Stromeferry Bypass, construction of Europe’s largest capacity rockfall catch fence, and considers it an accolade to have worked on projects in support of all of the UK’s current pumped storage hydro stations.
