About the International Conference on Manufacturing of Advanced Composites (ICMAC)

The ICMAC conference traces its roots back to 1986, with the inaugural International Conference on Automated Composites (ICAC) held in Nottingham. Initially focused on automation in composites manufacturing, the conference alternated between the UK and the Netherlands every 2-3 years.

Entering the new millennium, the scope expanded to encompass advanced composite materials and manufacturing, marking a significant milestone with ICMAC7 in Belfast in 2001. Since then, ICMAC has continued to grow, evolving into a premier platform for researchers, engineers, and industry professionals to exchange ideas, showcase innovations, and foster collaborations in composite materials and manufacturing.

Over the past four decades, ICMAC has become an indispensable event for the global composites community, offering insights into cutting-edge advancements and state-of-the-art research.

We invite you to join us for ICMAC14 at WMG, University of Warwick, in April 2025, where the brightest minds in composites will come together to explore the latest breakthroughs, share ideas, and shape the future of this exciting field. To celebrate and encourage emerging talent, we will also be presenting a series of Best Presentation and Best Poster Awards exclusively for PhD students. For attendees requiring an invitation letter to apply for a visa, please contact Dr Han Zhang via email, attaching proof of your successful registration for ICMAC14.
