DS Smith Corrugated Packaging
The Midlands Packaging Society are hosting an industrial visit to the DS Smith Corrugated Packaging site in Belper on 28 February 2023.
The Belper site manufactures high quality printed corrugated packs used by major brands around the UK. The visit will allow you to see the process from structural and graphic design through to preprint, using their Diamond HP815 flexo press, followed by corrugating, die cutting and glueing operations.
This site is unique in the group as a printed corrugated carton can be made under one roof from receipt of paper reels through to palletised decorated cases ready to be despatched to their customers.
