Direct Air Capture - Silver Bullet or Trojan Horse?
The Cleveland Institute of Engineers are pleased to announce their November meeting which will be delivered by Dr Humbul Suleman, Senior Lecturer in Chemical Engineering at Teeside University.
As the climate clock ticks, Direct Air Capture emerges as a promising solution for removing carbon dioxide from our atmosphere. Yet, its viability and impact on global decarbonisation efforts remain uncertain. We need to focus on developing innovative technologies to harness DAC's promise and pave the way for a sustainable future.
This event will be held in-person in the Centuria Building, Teeside University, Middlesborough, TS1 3QD. Please use the Woodlands carpark and click here to obtain a parking permit. You are welcome to arrive from 1730 and refreshments will be available.
If you are unable to attend in person but wish to watch the lecture virtually, please use the Book Now button at the top of the page to register.
