Celebrating International Women in Engineering Day

The IOM3 Women in Materials Group (WIM) has organised events at two museums to celebrate International Women in Engineering Day on 23 June. Special activities will take place at Magna in Rotherham and We the Curious in Bristol.

MAGNA, ROTHERHAM

Come and enjoy an informative and fun day out for IOM3 members and their families. There is free parking and a play area and water park outside.

Look out for the IOM3 stand in reception. The day will start at 10.30 am and finish at 3.30 pm. There will be activities available, a chance to look inside a materials discovery box and guided tours. You will also have a chance to find out about the Sheffield ‘Women of Steel’.

WE THE CURIOUS, BRISTOL

Events at We the Curious in Bristol include a trail around the museum and hands-on demonstrations related to plastics and sustainability in the Live Lab. All IOM3 members and their families welcome.
