Engineering is a diverse, wide-reaching sector that young people choosing their career options can find hard to navigate. The new booklet from Tomorrow’s Engineers provides an overview of 12 different types of engineering, highlighting useful subjects, typical earnings and examples of job roles and industries for each area. The booklet – primarily aimed at 14 to 19 year-olds – looks at where the jobs might be in 10 years’ time for people with STEM skills. From developing commercial space travel and managing cyber security to meeting global energy demands and designing a new breed of surgical robots; engineers will be at the forefront of tech innovation.
