IOM3 members residing in Hong Kong are automatically members of IOM3 HK. We organise and assist with numerous conferences, regular technical meetings, training courses, seminars and local and overseas field trips. IOM3(HK) members are predominantly involved in geotechnical and civil engineering works and comprise engineering geologists, geotechnical engineers, tunnelling engineers, materials engineers, geologists and materials scientists.
We organise meetings that provide informative talks on diverse subjects which contribute to continuing professional development for IOM3 members. Non-members are also welcome to attend.
2024 IOM3 Hong Kong Branch Annual General Meeting
IOM3 Hong Kong Branch ad a delightful Annual General Meeting (AGM) combined with their council elections at the Hong Kong Football Club yesterday night (26 April 2024).
The evening commenced with President Jennifer Haigh presenting the report for 2023-24, followed by the Honorary Secretary's Report delivered by George Ho and the Honorary Treasurer's Report presented by YC Lam.
Subsequently, we conducted the election for our Council Members, and we are pleased to announce the new IOM3 Hong Kong Council lineup for 2024-26:

IOM3 Hong Kong President receives 2023 IOM3 International Medal
IOM3 hosted the 2023 IOM3 Awards Day on 7 December to celebrate professional achievements, outstanding contributions to outreach and in the field of science and engineering. We would like to sincerely congratulate our President of IOM3 Hong Kong Branch, Jennifer Haigh CEng CEnv FIMMM, for winning the IOM3 International Medal.
