    Electrical Product Engineer

    Based in Manchester, UK with occasional global travel

    This role supports our Metrosil SiC varistor business from both a customer (product specification) and manufacturing (product design and testing) perspective. We are looking for an engineer with experience in product specification, design, manufacturing and testing.

    You will have good understanding of the materials requirements and design elements of electrical components, plus strong communication skills in conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Some supervisory responsibilities may apply, and a strong head for metrics and a high productivity level are critical requirements.

  • Auditor (Technical Officer) for CARES

    CARES is an independent, not-for-profit certification body, established in 1983 to provide confidence to the users, purchasers and specifiers of constructional steels through a regime of regulation, testing and inspection.

    It operates for the benefit of the construction industry offering certification schemes for companies that produce materials, components or offer services, primarily to the reinforced concrete industry.

    Based at home with extensive national and international travel, we are looking for an Auditor to join the UK based team.


    Some exciting opportunities have arisen within Airbus Engineering in the UK for experienced Material Engineers or Chemists to join our Surface Technology team in Materials, Processes and Test Department.
    You will work as part of a highly motivated team to develop and deploy new benchmark applied Chemistry in the fi eld of Chromate free surface treatments. Within a dedicated project team a new Chromate free basic primer will be developed in the next years.

    For this project we are seeking experienced Materials Engineers or Chemists with deep knowledge in corrosion and/or coating development. All positions offer excellent opportunities to use your skills to contribute to innovative work that improves the environmental footprint of aircraft by applying the latest paint technologies.
